It is my pleasure to invite you and a guest to join me and other Rotary leaders in Washington DC on Friday 05 April 2013 at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building (adjacent to the White House residence) for this auspicious event.
This day-long meeting will be an opportunity for high-level officials from the US Federal Government and representatives from Rotary to discuss how both are addressing key issues impacting communities in the US and across the globe. Please note that the event will be conducted in English only and language interpretation will not be available.
As part of the proceedings, the White House and Rotary will recognize key service projects and individuals that are making a difference in the lives of ordinary Americans. These "Champions of Change" will come from across the country and best exemplify the Rotary motto of "Service above Self."
To accept this invitation, please complete and submit the registration form by 14 March 2013. As space is extremely limited, participation is subject to remaining availability after that date. The final registration deadline is Thursday, 21 March and we will be unable to accept registrations after this date. Please note, this form asks for sensitive personal information. Such data is required to be cleared through White House security and will be destroyed after the event.
While the full agenda is still under development, the event will begin early on 05 April. Please plan to arrive in Washington DC no later than the evening of 04 April.
